What is GATE?

GATE is a nonprofit standardized test designed to provide a fair, affordable, and accessible alternative to traditional exams like the SAT, ACT, and TOEFL. Built by students, for students, it measures essential academic and communication skills required for higher education and life success worldwide.

Exam Overview

Reading & Writing

Comprehension, grammar, logical reasoning, and expression. (25 points)

Mathematics

Algebra, data interpretation, problem solving without calculators. (25 points)

English Communication

Listening, speaking clarity, vocabulary, and grammar. (40 points)

Global Mind

Critical thinking, ethics, and social awareness. (10 points)

Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes | Max Score: 100 points

How to Register

Students register through their schools or directly online for the Evalmee proctored exam. Registration fees are $50 for domestic and $100 for international candidates.
